Thursday Takes #55

Hello and happy September to you!! It's Sketches in Thyme Maven Tiffany with our first of 3 challenges for the month. The first 2 challenges of the month will be sketch challenges using our very own Sketches in Thyme ORIGINAL sketches. And speaking of our SiT sketches, did you see we have a new page on our blog to show off all of our sketches? We hope is that you can use this blog as a great reference and come back to it anytime for great sketchy inspiration. Our 3rd challenge will be our tried and true open challenge- no sketch provided. You use your own sketch, find a favorite from another blog, as long as you use a sketch, you can join in!! All 3 challenges will run for the entire month, so you'll have PLENTY of time to put our sketches to good use! Each participant will be entered in our monthly drawing; we have some fabulous sponsors lined up for you!!

Our sponsor for September is Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker. One lucky winner, drawn at random from all September entries, will receive a fabulous kit including 12x12 and 6x6 papers, burlap buttons and craft flags!!

Now...on to today's challenge. Our first sketch this month is one of my creations. You can use this sketch as a starting point to create, rotate, flip, whatever works to get you inspired! Here are a few takes from some of our wonderful Mavens:

Karen (September Guest Maven)

I hope the sketch and all the fabulous takes from the Design Team will get you scrapping! Now it’s your turn to create something fabulous. Link up your take on any (or all) of our September challenges in the sidebar by September 25th to be entered in this month's drawing, a gift from Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker!! =) Maven Tiffany
