Today we have our talented Maven Vanessa and she is sharing a wonderful project.

Hi everyone!! I'm completely in love with Tim Holtz Distress Inks and I learned lots of different ways of using them in the past two months, so I will share one of them with you!!

You will need a nice stamp, white stamp pad, white embossing powder, a white piece of card
stock, an acetate sheet, a spray bottle with water and two or more different colors of Distress Ink.

Start stamping on the card stock with the white stamp pad, spreading the white embossing powder all over it and heating with the embossing gun.

You will have something like this:

Then stamp all over the acetate sheet with the different colors of Distress Ink (don't put one color over the other) and spray some water over it. The water will react with the Distress Ink and you will have a very useful distress "waterly" ink.

Press the embossed image on the ink and scrub.

You can pull the paper to see where you need more ink and scrub the picture many times you need. When you're done, you can let it dry by itself or you can heat with the embossing gun, so you will spread the wet parts creating a nice effect over the paper.

Then you can use it on your work. I made a card!

I hope you liked it, have a very nice weekend!!
Vanessa
This is just wonderful! If anyone uses Vanessa's directions please let us know so we can pop in and see what you created.
